And it’s Dhoni Vs Hardik and billed as AAVIN (Tamilnadu) Vs AMUL (Gujarat) , the famous Milk brand product of the two franchise States.
Though GI was the table topper at the league stage winning 10 matches out of 14, they were trounced at the hustings at M.A.C. Stadkium, Chepauk, Chennai in the Play-off ( Qualifier-1) by CSK a few days back. The GI team is defending the title whereas CSK, who won the title 4 times, wants to win the title this year to give a fitting farewell to their mercurial Captain, M.S. Dhoni, who wanted to call it a day in this season.
The home advantage is there for GI but with MSD leading from the front CSK will try to upset the applecart of GI and romp home with the gleaming trophy.
